I found this job on craigslist today. If you're in the area you might want to check it out Video Game QA / Tester (WoW) – Part Time I really wish more jobs like this would pop up. I've got a technical background but I'm pretty much confined to the home office right now. To find something like this while telecommuting would be incredible. I love my telecommute job right now, but I would love to add some flavor around the edges.

Do you know what is really annoying? Blizzard always has their updates during the time when I can play. I can't play at night and I'm usually working mid day. The only time I can play is during my morning time which is when I guess people in Pacific Time are sleeping so they figure no one will be up.

I want to play the server is down for an update right now. I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow or just go around killing things and collecting money while I work. *eyes roll* how boring.

So I thought I would do a crazy thing and install ROBLOX on my Eee PC. It works okay, although there are some places that build rather slowly. If that worked, then why not put it WoW on it? So I tried it. I did get the information that my machine's hardware wasn't compatible, but I continued the install anyway. And it works. Yes, the screen is only 9 inches, but it does kind of scroll when you have to access something at the bottom. I think what I might do is let my son play with it as long as it doesn't overheat running WoW (which it might.) Who knows? The machine was a whopping $267.00 at Best Buy--a place I will never go to again to buy hardware. They didn't care to tell me about the restocking fee and the $267 was their closeout price, which seemed really high, but then again they know they're the only ones in these backwoods who carry it and I'm such an impulse buyer that I tried it. I hate the keyboard and mouse. If I thought the keyboard was okay, I would install Ubuntu on it and be done with it, but I can't so here it sits. I could take it back but they will charge me a restocking fee of about $50.00. Did I waste my money? I don't know. If I can get it to play WoW and ROBLOX so my son can use it while I'm trying to work then it will be worth the cost and I will just bring it with me to blog until I get the keyboard fixed on my MacBook Pro. First, I have to get my gaming machine built and then I'll fix the MacBook Pro. I can't recommend putting it on the Eee PC or any NetBook for that matter because it might run too hot. I really don't know yet. I can tell you that it works, which is really cool, and that I might even just put some GameBoy games and other non Internet games on it for road trips. My son would be so happy. If you see me on the Eee PC don't try to battle me. I'll be the one staying out of the way because for my hands it's just too hard. When he plays though, the keys will be just perfect. It will work much better with an external mouse and I have one that he can use. Get ready for a very happy kid!

Is there an addon that anyone recommends that will list the items that drop in a quest or an instance? I use questhelper but I don't think it does this.

I just picked up a Happy Fun Rock from an Ogre in Dire Maul. Has anyone played with it yet? I'm dying to know what it is but no one is on Come on let's have some fun. LOL - Witherhoof (i think) purrlinglion, troll, level 55 or so.

Oh my, wasn't all the work they did the other day for wintergrasp? I haven't had a server crash on me yet, but I have had to wait all morning to even get on. It's a drag when I play only during certain hours.

Very much like this patch, but it totally has it's ups and downs. Like, serious ones. While they did fix quite a bit, now wintergrasp almost always crashes the servers and arenas are closed! It's like the world is ending! Hope the get it all fixed and put together soon!

I am sure that a few of us here would be happy to help. Can you give us some background on what toon your playing? What lvl are you? If it is leveling you are having an issue with there are a few addons that can help out alot. Depending on your race/faction there are also some areas that are better for leveling than others. What server are you on? There may be someone here that is on the same server as well and can help walk you through some things.

Hello i am a mom of WoW and i play a 78 Tauren Shaman named Stumpileptic elemental spec.

my son got me into the game as he is clear across the country and we use it as a place to get together as he isnt able to visit us often .

my guild is currently clearing Naxx and i cant wait to get in there ..my son is the Gm of our guild and I love the game. mojority of the people are nice minus the few people that always want to start problem…cause guild drama and loot hogs … i hate loot hogs.

I love my character briesse. We have travelled throught azeroth and seen many things. I tend to travel the world in cat form. my favorite place is nagarand.. the scenery is so beautiful. I was thinking switching to a hunter though so I can fight together with a beautiful pet.

Has anyone else been a hunter? How do you like it? will it take me long to level to 80? I hear they have made leveling faster now. and should I try horde next?

If you're a horde member and you have a character on Bladefist come and join our guild MomsOfWow. Honestly, I don't have 10 signatures yet so it will take a bit. I don't know how to get your signature yet without asking. haha I usually just join them and not make them.'

We should make one for alliance as well, but I can't create an alliance character on a character with a horde.
