Dar’Khan’s Lieutenants

I just finished the Dar’Khan’s Lieutenants quest and what a pain it was. The Lieutenants weren’t difficult to fight–they were rather easy. Getting there was pretty easy as well. The hard part was waiting for Masophet the Black to show up. Mirdoran the Fallen, Borgoth the Bloodletter, and Jurion the Deceiver were all rather easy and available but Masophet the Black took his jolly time getting there and while you’re waiting all his henchmen around him spawn several times and sometimes right where you’re standing if you’re not careful. I suggest not getting up and going anywhere while you’re waiting.

Some people claim that he is in one of two ziggerauts (or is it zuggerat ziggarat ziggerats? lol). I found him in the one where Quest Helper told me he was but only after a few tries. I would sit there and wait and then my son would need something and when I would come back two mages would then be attacking me. I would suggest not going to the area if you’re going to have little mommy needs at the time.

OMG another update right now. It’s always such a pain because I have to open firewalls and crap. I’ll be back posting about it later. >.>

Getting More Hunter Training

I’m not sure how I ended up dead but when I opened up my Wow today I was a ghost. I suspect I was either working on Captives at Deatholme or Dar’Kahn’s Lieutenants because of where I can find my corpse and I have both quests open.

So off I go, down to see which one will be a bit easier at the moment since I’m probably low on everything. I most likely had to help one of the kids with something so I stopped and then died. I can never remember.

Hmmm…I’m not able to revive in a safe area. I’m right smack between the two quests with a lot of ugly monsters waiting for me to awaken from my ghostly slumber.

I flew back to Silvermoon City to get more hunter training. I don’t think I was able to successfully defeat these guys because of my lack of skills at the moment. And I was right, I was completely void of anything I enjoyed using to defeat bad guys. I couldn’t even dual wield yet and I don’t even have axe training–one of my favorites.

So, off I go to go get some wicked axes and training before I take on the creeps.

War on Deatholme

I just finished the War on Deatholme quest. It wasn’t too difficult, just kind of annoying because some of the Eye of Dar’Kahn guys are hard to see on a small monitor. During this quest my Lithellyn jumped to a level 20 and her pet brat is still a 19.

It’s kind of annoying. My son is almost next to me playing Urban Terror on the Mac and screaming at the guys. It’s frustrating. Why do kids get so insane when playing video games? I try to tell him to not be so hyper and sometimes I have even unplugged the computer and say it’s just a game. In fact, his brother deleted the little guy’s Death Knight last night and there was a big fuss. It was incredibly annoying to hear them fight about it.

With the War on Deatholme quest all I received was a pat on the back, experience with Tranquillen, 25 silver and 1950 experience points. Oooh ahh. I signed up for the next quest Dar’Khan’s Lieutenants that will give me better leggings than I have now.

How did you fair in the War on Deatholme? Did you get any decent goodies along the way?

Training My First Pet as Lithellyn

After finally collecting all the quests and leveling up enough to train a new pet I caught my first one on video. I know it isn’t a great step, but it’s the first step in my Beast Master Blood Elf. It’s going to be a very long journey taking on this task, but I think I can handle collecting elite and rare pets for my character. Read more »

Level 10 - Lithellyn the Blood Elf

I would love to show you my new Blood Elf named Lithellyn that I use to play with my son but she hasn’t hit Wow Armory yet I guess. Tonight she just hit level 10 as I finished off about 3 or 4 quests. Unfortunately, I kind of went out of order with her because I was helping my son with some of his quests and he doesn’t like to do them in order. I have yet to find my hunting staff. I gave her a level 1 Aspect of the Hawk for the talent point.

Since she is a hunter the obvious choice for professions are skinning and leatherworking. Right now she is only an 8 at leatherworking but that will increase soon. I also gave her First Aid and Fishing. Since I’ll have a pet I’ll need to keep both him and I fed so fishing might work out well.

I’m still notused to the Blood Elf land. I played a troll for so long that the area just became easy to navigate. The castles here are just a pain to remember which turn goes where.

I suppose I should stop my journey now because even though my son went on to level 14 with his Blood Elf he begged me to stop at 10. I think he likes the idea that his guy is a bit stronger than mine. I’ll just take it easy and try to finish off the quests I have and go train my pet I guess. I think I might take the movies created on my machine and put them on YouTube and let you see the progress. It isn’t too hard to do it seems. On my Mac I just hit the left bracket to start and stop the movie. This should be really cool. Then you can look and see what I dork I can be when I’m off fighting.

Check this movie out. It is my first attempt at creating one. It’s too small. Any Mac users want to give me a few clues here? I used the WoW interface to start and stop the movie then compress it and then I imported it into iMovie to put the caption of the website.
